A Poem in Your Pocket Writing Group
April is National Poetry Month. What a perfect time to celebrate the first anniversary of the monthly series of Sunrise Project Writing Groups led by Iris Craver!
Let’s create something as necessary as bread. Let’s sit together and create some poems for your pocket. Afterward, you will have at least one poem in your pocket for National Poem in Your Pocket Day which is April 27th.

You do NOT need to consider yourself a writer to join in this experience.
The workshop will be offered at The Sunrise Project in East Lawrence. Space is limited to ten participants. Please register through the Sunrise Project website at https://www.sunriseprojectks.org/
The suggested donation is $20. However, love donations are lovely as well as food for the pantry or toilet paper (there's a story)!
We will meet from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 25,2024
