Youth Programs

Sunrise Project is an all-ages space. We love fostering relationships with youth in our community in our low-pressure, nourishing, and positive learning environment.

Growing Roots

Every Wednesday, we provide programming that connect youth to good food through growing, cooking, and eating! Over the course of the school year, we create relationships with youth by giving them the space and opportunity to nourish their minds (and their stomachs!) outside of the classroom.

Special thanks to Livewell of Douglas County for funding this program!

Lit & Local

Lit & Local is our annual youth vendors market. Local youth artisans are invited to share their crafts, art, and music at no cost to them! We believe youth, regardless of age, all have talent that deserves to be showcased & celebrated.

This year, Lit & Local is on Saturday, July 23, from 7-9 p.m. For more info, click here!

Field Trips & more!

We are proud to offer Field Trips for local youth interested in Sunrise Project! Field trips can be on site, or we can bring Sunrise Project to your school or community center! We have fun and interactive activities for any age group. Activities include a

No-Peeking Guessing Game, Garden tours, Planting & Painting Pots, Age-Appropriate Cooking Lessons, Body Positive Food Chats, and more.
