Writing for the Long Nights

The winter solstice celebrates the return of hope to our land as our planet experiences the first slow turn toward greater daylight. We are now welcoming the return of the sun and the coming of springtime. In this writing group, we will remember and embrace the positive, enriching aspects of winter's darkness.

Facilitator:

I completed national certification as a poetry therapist and have facilitated expressive creative writing groups in the community in a variety of settings from the county jail to the senior center. I am hooked on the idea that the more you spend time with creative expression the more creative you will become in all aspects of your life. Iris Craver
