Spring is a natural time to lay the seeds for new projects and new directions in your life. In this group, we will write about washing, cleaning, and scrubbing up our lives. We will write about planting seeds for new growth. Now is the time of year to take new action. During this time together, we will use our words to follow Pablo Neruda’s suggestion and “do…..what spring does with the cherry trees”!
Space is limited to 8 participants, so please register early!
We will meet on Thursday, March 28th from 6-8pm at 1501 Learnard. Please use the side door facing Learnard Street rather than the front door. Donations of $$ or food for the pantry are appreciated.
About the facilitator: I lead expressive writing groups in a variety of settings ranging from the county jail to the city library. I completed courseword to be a certified journaling and poetry therapist and am hooked on the idea that the more we engage in the process of creative writing, the more creative we become in all aspects of our lives. I’ve published a couple of books and a few poems here and there. I live just off the banks of the Kaw and I am especially grateful for the dirt here. ~ Iris Craver
