Tour + Dinner! For those curious about Sunrise!

Curious about Sunrise? ... or maybe you haven't been to our new place yet? This is the perfect event for you! Designed for folks who have not yet been to our new space, we have partnered with Lawrence Public Library to offer this Tour + Meal. Here's the description:

Join us to learn more about our community-driven friends at Sunrise Project! Co-Founder and Executive Director Melissa Freiburger and Program Leader Ainsley Agnew will guide us on a tour of Sunrise’s new space and gardens as we learn more about the community-focused events and programs they offer, including hosting meals and sponsoring a community garden and learning space where all are welcome. 

We’ll harvest some greens from the garden along our tour and add them to a homemade West-African style stew already warming on the stove. To wrap up the evening, we’ll sit and enjoy a meal together.
