Sunrise Project Writing Group - Autumn Equinox~Balancing the Light and the Dark
Thursday, September 28th from 6-8pm
It is the time of the year when there is equal daylight and nighttime darkness. It is a time to explore balance and what has helped you find equilibrium. It is a time to clear your internal ground and prepare for dormancy. A time to empty out space, compost old ideas and use your energy to fertilize new soil for creativity. It's a good time to write.
Space is limited to 12 people. Love donations go to The Sunrise Project. Food for the pantry or toilet paper (there's a story) or $$ or just your presence are appreciated.
The group will be facilitated by Iris Craver. She says, " “I lead expressive writing groups in a variety of settings ranging from the county jail to the city library. I completed national certification as a journaling and poetry therapist because I am hooked on the idea that the more we engage in the process of creative writing, the more creative we become in all aspects of our lives. I live just off the banks of the Kaw and am grateful for all that life has given me!”
