Free Community Meal: Hoppin John & Cornbread

Join us for dinner! FREE and open to all! Donations welcome but never required. 

We are making vegetarian Hoppin' John, a traditional southern dish made with black-eyed peas, veggies and smoky flavor. We'll serve it with a scoop of rice, cornbread and dessert. Black eyed peas are not only delicious but soooooo good for us!! They are high in protein, iron, fiber and antioxidants. Their nutritional benefits help reduce cholesterol, regulate blood sugar and lower blood pressure.
