Be Prepared & Grounded Writing Group

2025 presents overwhelming and stressful challenges.  Creative, expressive writing is a proven means to find ways to be resilient and persevere. This year, at the Sunrise Project Writing group, each month, I intend to inspire you for the journey that lies ahead. In February, the theme will be Connectedness and Building Community.

I will be aware of myself as one who creates.

The goal of injustice is to breed passivity. To counteract this, we can stay connected to others and build community. One way is to create together with others, whether it’s cooking a meal, organizing a dazzling dramatic action, making a sign, listening to live music, working in a community garden or writing poems.
