An Herbal Extravaganza Writing Workshop!
Herbs find their way into our food, our medicine, our stories and the very fabric of our lives. During this workshop, you will be guided using poetry, folklore, recipes and songs about herbs to discover your connection to these powerful plants and through the power of words to discover your memories and dreams. You will also be introduced to a variety of methods that can help you with your journaling practice (or maybe get you started!)
Donations of $$ or food for the pantry are appreciated.
Participation in this workshop will be based on Iris Craver's recently published book ~ “Spice it Up! An Herbal Extravaganza!”. If you would like your own copy, please bring $20.

About the Facilitator, Iris Craver: I lead expressive writing groups in a variety of settings ranging from the county jail to the senior center. I completed national certification as a journaling and poetry therapist because I am hooked on the idea that the more we engage in the process of creative writing, the more creative we become in all aspects of our lives. I live just off the banks of the Kaw and am grateful for all of the surprises that life has given me!
