Weekly Volunteer Opportunity!

Click on the link below to sign up to bring dessert for our weekly community meal.

Anything easy to serve in a to-go format is welcome (bars and cookies for example).

We do have gluten-free and vegan community members that enjoy dessert, too - so if either of those are your specialty, we'd really love to have you!

EVERY DONATION COUNTS

Sunrise Project is currently responding to comunity need by hosting Sunrise Community Pantry on our front porch at 1501 Learnard. Community members are leaving and taking supplies as we collectively experience life in the COVID-19 pandemic. All are welcome to take items. The community pantry is not regulated.

Folks are leaving food, diapers, menstrual products, toilet paper and more. What is available is based on community donations. Open every day, 24/7.

Sunrise is providing weekly free dinners each Wednesday evening. Meals are made possible by a United Way grant and through generous community donations!

You can mail monetary donations to 1501 Learnard Ave., Suite E Lawrence, KS 66044 or e-mail Melissa at melissa@sunriseprojectks.org if you’d like to arrange a time to drop off a monetary donation. We thank you!!
