Fig Tree Workshop

You can grow figs at home in a pot or in the ground! Come learn the basics of home fig production in this two hour session. We’ll learn about varietal selection, making potting mix, fertilization, winter protection and how to construct sub irrigated planters.

Fig trees will be for sale $20-25. The class is free but donations are welcome.

You must rsvp to Lawrencefruittreeproject@gmail.com to reserve a spot. Parking at the orchard during events is reserved for folks with mobility challenges. Otherwise park on Delaware st. Lawrence Community Orchard is located at 830 Garfield St. in East Lawrence.
